Abstract EN

This research aims to identify (the reality of employing the strategies of lecture and brainstorming in the educational platform classroom in the departments of geography).

to achieve the goal of the research, the researcher used the descriptive approach, and the research community included (129) professors and professors from the departments of geography in five faculties of education in Iraqi universities (Babylon-Al-Mustansiriya-Baghdad-Karbala-Kufa).

the researcher chose the base sample by (38 %) of the total research community, and thus the total base sample consisted of (50) male and female professors from the departments of geography in the five colleges of education in Iraqi universities.

the researcher took (40) individuals as an exploratory sample from the original research community from the college of education, University of Baghdad, to apply the questionnaire to the professors of geography departments after the questionnaire was described for the five-point likert scale.

and then employing the research tool (the questionnaire) consisting of (4) fields and (55) paragraphs after extracting its validity and stability and the relationship of the fields to the paragraph and the degree of the domain and paragraphs that became composed of (52) paragraphs with its four fields.

the researcher used the statistical treatments and means to complete the research procedures and show the results, including the percentage, chi-square, pearson correlation coefficient, facronbach's method or equation, weighted mean and percentage weight.

the study showed the following results : 1- the classroom educational platform helps teachers to use various teaching aids (texts, audio, images and videos) to clarify the educational material.

2- the professors dependence on the lecture strategy compared to the brainstorming strategy in the geography departments.
