The current research aims to (analyzing the content of the sociology book.

a group of experts and arbitrators with specialization in educational and psychological sciences and teaching methods, the number of paragraphs of the tool reached (58) paragraphs in its final form.

the research community was determined by the social book for the fifth grade of primary school for the academic year (2021-2022), and at a rate of (14) pages subject to analysis out of (104) pages, and the (introduction, questions, index, activities, pictures, and drawings) were excluded.

90) pages were excluded from the analysis, and to ensure the stability of the analysis, the researcher relied stability with himself over time and among analysts with specialization, and using the holstey equation.

among the most important results that the researcher reached are : -political tolerance ranked first out of the total number of repetitions (43), and religious tolerance ranked second, social tolerance ranked third, scientific tolerance ranked fourth, and economic tolerance ranked last.

the researcher recommended several recommendations, including : 1.

interest in including the content of the sociology book for the fifth grade of primary school with topics and concepts that reflect the values of economic tolerance.

all education directorates should hold educational workshops and seminars for teachers of social sciences in order to enlighten them about the importance of the values of tolerance.

the researcher suggested conducting the following studies : 1.

conducting a study similar to the current study to analyze the content of social studies books for the intermediate stage in the light of tolerance values.

conducting a study similar to the current study to analyze the content of sociology books in iraq and qatar in the light of tolerance values (a comparative study).
