Abstract EN

Serving the revival of lost heritage, I strived to codify a letter that tackles the parsing of the expression (There is no God but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah), written by Sheikh Mohammed Al-Kanawi.

I edited the text in accordance with the rules of contemporary spelling system while preserving the essence of the text and completing what was missed in it.

For the integrity of the text, I put the inflection marks for a lot of number of confusing utterances, with the documentation of the texts and citing the biography of each mentioned proper noun, and commented on what is worth commenting on, such as redressing an issue, clarifying an unknown thing, or explaining an ambiguous matter.

The importance of this letter lies in the lack of authorship in its subject; perhaps the loss of some parts of it.

Yes, it is true that there are some sections written about the parsing of the word of monotheism, i.e.

(There is no God but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah), under the heading that talks about “La” that denotes negation of the genus, found in the grammar books and sources of exegeses, however, we can hardly find many independent literatures on this subject.
