تمثل الهدف الرئيس للدراسة في بحث وتحليل كيفية تأثير "المواطن الصحفي" في الحراك السياسي في العراق وتنشيط الشأن السياسي في المجال العام في الفترة 2019-2021، ودور المواطن الصحفي في إثارة الموضوعات والقضايا والأحداث خلال فترة الحراك السياسي في العراق وردود الفعل نحوها شعبيا وحكوميا تندرج الدراسة في البحوث النوعية، وقد اعتمدت على أداتين هما: المقابلات المنتظمة المعمقة مع عينة متاحة من النخب الإعلامية العراقية من صحفيين وأساتذة جامعات وإعلاميين ونشطاء في الحراك السياسي بلغت (30) مفردة (مشاركا).

واعتمدت الدراسة أيضا على الملاحظة ومعايشة الباحث لتطورات الحراك السياسي.

توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج كان من أهمها أن "المواطن الصحفي" أثر إيجابيا في الحراك وعزز من قوته عن طريق النشر والتحريض والتعبئة وكشف المعلومات السرية، لكن عموما فإن تغطية المواطن الصحفي للحراك السياسي لم تكن كما يجب وتحتاج إلى التقيد بالمعايير المهنية.

ومن النتائج الأخرى أن المواطن الصحفي ساهم في تنشيط الحوار السياسي في المجال العام في العراق، وذلك من خلال طرح القضايا والمعلومات التي لم تكن الصحافة التقليدية تجرؤ على طرحها ومناقشتها.

وكشفت الدراسة أيضا أن المواطن الصحفي أثرى ساحات الرأي العام في النقاشات العامة، وكان من نتائج ذلك التخفيف من حدة الطائفية، وبدأ الفرز يقوم على أسس سياسية وحزبية أكثر من الطائفية، كذلك أصبحت الحكومة وأجهزتها الأمنية أكثر حذرا في التعامل مع المواطنين خصوصا مع المحتجين والنشطاء في الحراك، على الرغم من الضحايا الكثر في هذا المجال.

English Abstract

The main objective of the study was to research and analyze how the citizen journalist affected the political movement in Iraq and revitalized the political issue in the public sphere in the period 2019-2021.” popular and governmental.

the study is part of qualitative research, and it relied on two tools: regular in-depth interviews with a sample of the Iraqi elite, including citizen journalists, university professors, media professionals and activists in the political movement, amounting to (30) individual (participants).

it also relied on the observation tool and the researcher's experience of the developments of the political movement.

the study reached a set of results, the most important of which was that the citizen journalist had a positive impact on the movement and enhanced its strength through publication, incitement, mobilization, and disclosure of confidential information.

however, a percentage of the citizen journalist’s coverage of the political movement was not successful and did not adhere to the minimum professional standards.

another result is that the citizen journalist has contributed to revitalizing the political dialogue in the public sphere in Iraq, by presenting issues and information that the traditional press did not dare to raise and discuss.

the study also revealed that the citizen journalist enriched the public opinion arenas in public debates, and one of the results of that was to reduce sectarianism, and the screening began to be based on political and partisan foundations rather than sectarian, and the government and its security services also became more cautious in dealing with citizens, especially with protesters and activists in movement, despite the many casualties in this field.
