يعد الصفدي من أبرز مؤرخي القرن الثامن الهجري / الرابع عشر الميلادي في الدولة المملوكية ؛ إذ جمع الصفدي بين التاريخ و الأدب و العمل الإداري، و ألف العديد من المصنفات، و تلقى العلم من علماء عصره متنقلا بين مصر و بلاد الشام، و حصل على العديد من الإجازات العلمية، ثم تولى بدوره التدريس و صار لديه الكثير من التلاميذ، و تقلد مناصب متنوعة في ميدان العمل الإداري و تحديدا في ديوان الإنشاء، و عبر مسيرة حياته ارتبط بعلاقات علمية و شخصية و إدارية متنوعة، و قد تناول هذا البحث سيرة الصفدي و نشأته، و شيوخه و مناصبه و تلاميذه، و علاقته بعلماء عصره و مكانته لديهم.
Abstract EN
Al-Safadi Is considered as one of the prominent literary figures and historians in the Mamluk state.
He was firstly educated in his birthplace Safad, and then traveled between Syria and Egypt, for earn as much learning as he could from the notable scholars of his age.
He enrolled in the service of the Mamluk chancery( Diwan Al-Insha), but he keeps looking for learning all through his life.
His scientific pursue acquired him with much respect and admiration of the scholars and men of literature.
This research aims to clarify the position Al-Safadi enjoyed in field of scientific learning in 8th century A.H.
as it reflected in the eyes of his contemporizes.
