This study about the application of the blue ocean strategy towards financial sustainability at the Kau libraries.

This concept is based on the fact that libraries compete themselves through creativity, innovation and development.

As well as attracting a new segment of beneficiaries from outside the university.

One of the main objectives of the study is to identify the concept of the blue ocean strategy, as well as to develop a proposed plan at the Kau libraries for financial sustainability through the application of the blue ocean strategy.

The study concluded the necessity of adopting the blue ocean strategic plan from the highest legislative in the university, in addition to linking the library's budget to the existing strategic plans.
