Maulana Khalid Naqshbandi was born in a village belonged to Qaradagh village in the province of Sulaimaniyah.

He was one of the eminent scientists who employed his thoughts to improve Islamic nation and called for the standardization and doctrine of the predecessor for so long.

He became the icon of the guidance and science in Iraq and Levant; he inspired many people and taught hundreds of students, he became very famous in Iraq and the Levant in his time.

Maulana Khalid's relationship with Ottoman state is under consideration and discussion, many of those who wrote in his biography believed that his relationship to the Ottoman Empire was unsatisfactory, but the documents confirm the opposite.

This research is a modest attempt for a new reading of the subject
