The main objective of this research is to show the influence of Socrates and his ideas on the history of the Athenians.

The ideas of the Greek philosopher Socrates influenced many of his political students, the most famous of whom was the Athenian leader Alcibiades.

He became an icon immortalized by the writings of his students, and just as Socrates influenced the history of the city of Athens, being a philosopher whose students had a great deal of fame, such as Plato and Aristotle, because he was a historical figure who influenced the history of the city of Athens during the Peloponnesian wars, and Socrates was speaking to his students in Markets and public places through dialogue, and he had a real role during the thirty tyrants’ government, where he played the role of a defender of the law, because he refused to obey the orders of the tyrants’ government at the time, and his ideas were written by his student, the famous philosopher Plato, the most important of which was his attack on the democratic system adopted by the city of Athens.
