The aim of the research is to identify the level of importance of the using assistive technology in developing self-learning skills and its obstacles for students with learning disabilities, from the point of view of female teachers in Jeddah, to identify statistically significant differences in the level of importance of using assistive technology in developing self-learning skills among students with learning disabilities, depending on the variables of study (academic qualification- number of years of experience).

To achieve the objectives of the study, and to answer its questions, the researcher used the descriptive method, and designed the study tool (the questionnaire) and ensure its validity and reliability.

The study sample consisted of (60) female teachers.

The research reached the following conclusions: - Estimates of the importance of using assistive technology in the development of self-learning skills among students with learning disabilities, it came up a great degree, from the point of view of their teachers in Jeddah, Level of obstacles of using assistive technology in the development of self-learning skills among students with learning disabilities from the point of view of their teachers in Jeddah came with a high degree of appreciation, with regard to the importance of the using assistive technology in the development of self-learning skills among students with learning disabilities there were no statistically significant differences attributable to the variables of scientific qualification and years of experience from the point of view of their teachers in Jeddah.

The study concluded with a number of recommendations, including: The need to activate the means of assistive technology in the learning of students with learning disabilities.
