The aim of the research is to investigate the effect of the intensity level of visual cues (high/low) in the two types of virtual tours (panoramic/3D) on developing the skills of using technological innovations and immersion in learning among students of instructional technology, and the research sample consisted of (84) male and female students of the first year Department of Instructional Technology, Faculty of Specific Education, Benha University, in the first semester of the academic year 2020/2021, and students were randomly divided into four equal experimental groups according to the research variables.
Performance and learning immersion scale.
The researcher used the quasi-experimental design and the developmental research method.
After applying the basic research experience and processing the data statistically, the research reached several results, including: There are statistically significant differences in the post application of both the cognitive achievement test and the performance observation card in favor of the experimental group.
The third (studied using a 3D virtual tour pattern with high visual cues) came n The results of the students of the second experimental group (which were studied using the pattern of panoramic virtual tours with low visual cues) ranked last among the other experimental groups in the cognitive achievement test and the performance observation card, and the results found that there were statistically significant differences between the experimental groups in the application of the immersion in learning scale.
In favor of the third experimental groups (which studied using the style of 3D virtual tours with a high level of visual cues), and the first (which was studied using the style of panoramic virtual tours with a high level of visual cues), and in the light of the previous results, some recommendations and suggestions were presented.
