19 Since ancient times, women have been dealt with on the basis that they are merely a body created to satisfy males desires and discharge their repressions.

This insult to women resulting from a purely masculine mentality has continued to take the form of slander and insults, particularly in ancient Arabic poetry.

So if the poet wanted to offend a leader or tribe, he would insult their women and slander their honour.

This act left a lot of resentment for those affected by this defamation through poetry, and Kaab bin Al Ashraf is a blatant example of this abusive treatment to women, her family, and clan.

Kaab insulted the Messenger Muhammad, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, and tried to defame the women of the Muslims.

As a result, the prophet, peace be upon him, ordered the killing of Kaab.

Indeed, he was assassinated by three Muslim soldiers.

The objec tive behind attacking the Prophet has a hidden political dimension, which was to fight the emerging Islamic state whose power was widening in Medina after the Prophet's migration.

The poet was a Jew from Medina, so he opposed the new State and openly declared his hostility against it, then tried to harm its leader by defaming him and insulting Muslim's women, which cost him his life.

So, should itical assassination in the era of the lamic state ?
