as for the effects of this clear conquest in the Islamic East we say that joy and jubilation prevailed throughout Asia and Africa.

this conquest was the dream of the ancestors and the hope of generations.

the ottomans took two basic strategies to reach their goal of conquering constantinople.

encircling it from the east and west by occupying the surrounding cities and lands.
