This research paper aims to demonstrate the importance of legal aid that allows benefiting from the right of defense, which is a human right par excellence, as part of the jurisprudence considers that this right is a natural right that does not need to be stipulated in international human rights covenants and declarations, but rather this right is closely related to personality.

which cannot be separated from it because it is a natural extension of it, and accordingly judicial assistance has become an urgent need because it is part of the efforts aimed at embodying the principle of legal equality, protecting rights and achieving justice we decided to address the topic by explaining the nature and importance of legal aid, the forms of legal aid, and the types of legal aid.

it was found through this research paper the need to expand the categories of beneficiaries of legal aid and facilitate the administrative and judicial procedures to benefit from legal aid.
