This study aimed to measure the effectiveness of a proposed program in developing critical thinking skills.

To achieve these goals, the researcher used the Quasi-Experimental Approach, prepared a critical thinking development skills test, and designed a proposed program to develop critical thinking skills of the kindergarten child.

The study sample was a random sample of 60 early childhood children (aged 5-6) in government sector schools in eastern Riyadh, divided into two groups, (30) children representing the experimental group, who were applied to the proposed program in developing critical thinking development skills and (30) children representing the control group, who were applied to the traditional approach.

The study results revealed that there is an effectiveness of the proposed program in developing critical thinking skills in early childhood, as the results showed statistically significant differences at the indicative level of (450.05) between the average scores of children of the experimental group in the pre and post application.

The results also showed differences in the post application between the control group children and the experimental group in favor of the experimental group, proving the success and effectiveness of the proposed program in developing the critical thinking skills in early childhood children.

In the light of these findings, the study recommended the following: Conducting training courses for female teachers to develop their capacities to use different programs and strategies to develop critical thinking skills in early childhood children, Raising awareness among female teachers regarding the importance of using modern programs and methods that provoke and stimulate critical thinking in early childhood children.
