Abstract EN

This is a linguistic study of Chari Bagirmi Arabic, one of the Chadian Arabic dialects; It sheds light on the linguistic substitution, which is a phenomenon of the phonetic level in it, and determines the extent of its agreement or disagreement with the Arabic language, or the ancient Arabic dialects; therefore, it gains its importance in that it revealed the manifestations of linguistic substitution in it.

this research aims to reveal the phenomenon of linguistic substitution in Shari Baghermi's Arabic.

as i monitored the phenomenon of linguistic substitution in that dialect, then I presented some explanations for this phenomenon, trying to link most of it to its roots in classical Arabic and ancient Arabic dialects.

the examples and texts were recorded in phonetic writing with the international alphabetic symbols.
