Health services are considered one of the main pillars that countries are keen to provide, finance and manage due the fact that providing such services leads to the preservation of human resources, which are the main pillar of the social and economic development of any society.

Thus, this research is conducted to identify the spatial characteristics of the distribution of hospitals in the neighborhoods of Taif so as to reveal the pattern of their geographical distribution by adopting the spatial analysis methodology using geographical information systems (GIS)..

In this study, the researcher used the tools of spatial statistical analysis to analyze the data in order to show the spatial characteristics of hospital sites in the neighborhoods of the city of Taif.

The study has shown that the clustered pattern is the geographical distribution pattern of hospital sites in Taif, and the value of the neighborhood coefficient is 0.42.

Moreover, hospital sites are mainly found in the neighborhoods located in the city center because they represent the first nucleus of the beginning of the emergence and growth of the city due to its high population density since ancient times, it has recommended the necessity of expanding the establishment of hospitals in neighborhoods that have no health services.
