School guidance has become an essential component in the educational process, and a major actor in achieving its essence, because of its functions, objectives and means adapted to the school environment, and with the aim of identifying the role of school guidance and counseling in the quality of the educational process, this article came to explain and clarify this, and after an analytical process is reached to school guidance and counseling, through its contribution to the development of students' skills and abilities, by helping them achieve their psychological and school compatibility, and improving their level of motivation towards study, leads to the improvement of the educational process.
