The contextual approach has clearly appeared in the production of the Arabic heritage, and confirmed to us the existence of this principle for them, especially linguists and grammarians.

this is what the study sought to clarify and confirm, by tracing examples from the books of language and grammar people, and interviewing them with what exists in modern contexts, and it became clear that most of the elements of context theory: linguistic context was present in their works, and how some were presented in their books as a means rather than an end.

the linguistic and grammatical production that has reached us confirms their primacy, their awareness of the contextual approach, and their awareness of it as a powerful tool to reach meaning, even if the methods of studying it with the modernists in terms of theorizing, analysis and application, and this is self-evident due to the different times and places.
