The current study focuses on revealing the most important areas to which the elderly are subjected within the social care centers, by relying on the descriptive analytical approach to study one of the social care centers in the state of mascara, and based on interviews within the framework of the focus of discussion and observation as two basic means of fact-finding.

the field study confirmed that the nursing home, or the so-called care home, provides many economic, physical, as well as medical, psychological, social, and sensory-motor services, by providing a multidisciplinary medical staff that cares about the health of the elderly person who is permanently or temporarily residing within the institution.
