The study aims to identify the contribution of the leadership to reducing organizational conflict in the university institution, and has relied on three dimensions of transactional leadership and four causes of organizational conflict.

the study concluded: -there is a strong relationship between the dimensions of mutual leadership in reducing regulatory conflict.

-management with negative exception has the most powerful influence in reducing the causes of regulatory conflict.

-the most important reason for the organizational conflict at Medea university is the overlapping of powers and responsibilities.
