Abstract EN

This study deals with the history of the Sadrist movement in Iraq, its emergence the political role it plays, its presence in the street.

The study also deals with the structure of the movement and the most important characteristic of its leadership and the complex nature of its relations with Iran as a regional actor.

The study argues that the movement will try to expand its sphere of influence and escalate with Iran and its proxies in Iraq.
