Abstract EN

The aim of the current research is to develop the preventive behaviors among mentally handicapped children using the task analysis approach.

Prior to the two research groups, which consisted of ( 16 ) children in both the experimental and control groups, the experimental group was taught through the task analysis approach, while the control group was taught in the usual way and then the post-test was applied.

The results of this research resulted in the presence of statistically significant differences between the average grades of the children of the experimental and control groups in the test of the protective behaviors of the mentally disabled children in favor of the experimental group
