In This research the compound (N, N-Bis (2,4Dihydroxy) -1- Methylbenzylidene) Pyridine-2,6-Dicarbohydrazide ) was synthesized, That showed analytical properties of application importance; as analytical reagent for determination of metal ions by spectrophotometric methods, the compound (N, N-Bis (2.4 Dihydroxy) -1-Methylbenzylidene) Pyridine-2,6- Dicarbohydrazide ) was showed Characteristics of acid-basic indecator.

The prepared compound has a yellow color in strong alkaline media and turns colorless at pH>=7.22; So it can be used as a indecator in adjustment titrations.
