Abstract EN

This research aims to highlight the so-called error ergonomics which represents two approaches; zero defects approach and error data store (Mbarki, 2004), the latter approach is represented by techniques that identify, classify and predict human errors before occurred, most of these techniques depend on hierarchical task analysis (HTA), then the possible errors can be classified for each process, there are three types of human error identification techniques; error taxonomy-based techniques, human error identifier-prompt techniques, error quantification techniques.

according to ergonomics experts, SHERPA technique is the most important technique (Embry, 1986) which classifies and can measure human error (qualitative measurement), from here we are trying to highlight the SHERPA technique and explain error taxonomy with examples and its steps, the difference between it and other techniques, then we try to explain how can have a role in improving human performance and quality and quantity production, also reducing errors and in addition to preventing risks.
