Postmodernism has revolutionized our understanding of the process of criticism.

it turned it into a reading aimed at unveiling the ambiguous, through interpretation and deconstruction as two strategies that deal with significance in a different way.

however, both strategies believe that the language has its energy that enables it to hide many different and manifold connotations.

Kilito has taken upon himself the banner of revealing the secrets of the ancient Arabic texts, by resorting to interpretation that is often doubled, to become a deconstruction that exposes the text to infinite semantic possibilities.

therefore, this study attempts to deal in depth with the critical reading strategies of Abdel Fattah Kilito of interpretation and deconstruction.
