During the past decades, Algerian society has gone through several historical stages and stations, which greatly affected its social structure, and changed many features in its value system, and in the patterns of relationships forming this social fabric, which began to change little by little, due to many historical factors, and perhaps the most prominent of these stages the history that Algerian society has gone through is the stage of the French colonization of Algeria, in which Algerian society witnessed the most horrific forms of murder, torture, abuse, displacement, rape of land and property, and robbery of liberties and rights, in addition to the process of ignorance, and an attempt to erase cultural identity, and social and religious values.
