Abstract EN

Social phenomena are always changing, speaking new socio-cultural patterns in social behavior, among the phenomena produced by social change are the phenomena of deviation and crime.

this study aims to know the Algerian society has know throughout history on the phenomenon of deviation as political, economic, social and cultural changes have led to a shift in the social structure and functions of systems and relation between individuals and groups.

the presentation of this research paper came by addressing the most important changes that Algeria experienced during its historical process, starting with political changes, then economic changes, and finally social changes, so that we finally reach the conclusion that these changes had a contribution to increasing the phenomenon of delinquency and crime in Algerian society.
