The following study aimed to identify the most important sources of professional pressure among the heads of departments at the university of Abdel Hamid Mehri Constantine on a sample consisting on thirteen heads in various fields in their study the researcher relied on adopting a work analysis technique to collect data related to the study, they reached a description of the pedagogical and administrative tasks of the heads of departments they revealed their psychological and cognitive requirements as well.

in addition to diagnosing the sources of their work pressures represented in organizational pedagogical and physical pressures.
