Abstract EN

Given the critical importance that the financial sector plays in economy development, our study aimed to shed light on the impact that the financial liberalization theory has on the development of the financial sector in Algeria, morocco and Tunisia.

using longitudinal analysis, this study analyzed the nature of the relationship between the financial liberalization and development by tracking the changes of the country’s financial indicators as the financial depths and evaluating the degree of both liberalization and development of the financial sector.

the development of the Moroccan financial system is highly related to the financial liberalization’s application; but it is not true for the Algerian and Tunisian case.
