Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the nature of the relationship between psychosocial security, and life orientation among battered women in Gaza governorates, and to identify the significance of statistical differences in the level of psychosocial security according to the variables : (age, place of residence, educational level, number of children, number of years of marriage).

the researchers used the analytical descriptive curriculum on a sample of 400 violent women, the researchers prepared two tools (Psychosecurity Measure and Life Orientation), and the (SPSS) programme, the most notable findings of the study were : the general characteristic of the level of psychosocial security of battered women in the Gaza Strip governorates emerged at a moderate level, there is a positive expulsion relationship between the study variables "Psychosocial security and life-oriented level of battered women, no statistically significant differences in average psychosocial security and life-oriented attributable to a variable age, While there were statistically significant differences in psychosocial security attributable to the variable level of education and the number of children, in conclusion, found a statistically significant effect on psychosocial security on improving the life orientation of battered women, the researchers came up with a series of recommendations, including the provision of mentoring programmes in family protection centres associated with sensitizing, mentoring and mentoring women who attend such centres on dealing with pressures and problems.
