The accounting reform began in 1998 at the initiative of the national accounting council.
various work has been carried out in this regard, but it was not until 2004 that the reform work was completed with the development of a new accounting framework which takes into account most of the existing standards in terms of IAS / IFRS the text on the new S.C.F, carried by law 7 / 11, responds to aspects related to the definition of the conceptual framework, the general and specific rules for valuation, recognition and presentation of financial statements.
this new accounting system is implemented through a legislative and regulatory framework in accordance with the draft accounting law relating to the accounting system of companies.

La réforme comptable a débuté en 1998, à l’initiative du conseil national de comptabilité.
divers travaux ont été menés a cet égard, mais ce n’est qu’en 2004 que les travaux de la reforme se sont achevés par l’élaboration d’un nouveau référentiel comptable qui prend en considération la majeure partie des normes existantes en matière des I.A.S / I.F.R.S.
le texte portant nouveau S.C.F, porté par la loi 7 / 11 répond aux aspects liées à la définition du cadre conceptuel, les règles générales et spécifiques d’évaluation, de comptabilisation et présentation des états financiers.
ce nouveau système comptable est mis en application par le bais d’un cadre législatif et règlementaire conformément au projet d’une loi comptable relative au système comptable des entreprises.
