Cryptocurrencies are considered one of the outcomes of the information and communication revolution, which has created international convergence, making online payments possible.

due to the lack of specific legal regulations regarding cryptocurrencies in most legislations and the tendency of many legislations to ban them, this has led to a legal dispute regarding their nature.

despite the Palestinian monetary authority's direction to ban dealing with cryptocurrencies and the issuance of various fatwas declaring them forbidden, they have become an inevitable reality.

this creates a need to adopt a positive stance towards cryptocurrencies and regulate them in legislation, drawing on the experiences of pioneering countries in this regard.
