After the independence of Algeria, the relationship between the legislative and executive authorities was characterized, by the presence of complementarity between them, due to the influence of the ideological orientation followed by Algeria, and this situation was followed by the exclusion of the application of the separation of powers, and the legislative work defined the participation of the executive authority, which became the most initiative, which was reflected in the level of application of the principle, and the role of the executive authority has gone from exception to being dominant over the position of parliament, and many factors have contributed to this, such as the continuity of the effect of one-party politics and the level of presence of parties at the parliament.
