Abstract EN

Rheoric in the Arab critical scene requires differentiating between two opposing perceptions.

the first one is ancient, represented by al-Sakaki and those who followed him with explanations and summaries, and the second one is modern one represented by the modern Arab critical practice (MACP).

this latter no longer considers rhetoric as a study of style according to the rhetoric, ingenuity and meaning science, but has made rhetoric a general science that takes human potential discourses as a subject for study and analysis.

from this point of view, this research has been established to shed light, in particular, on the methodological contributions and terminological structure that general Arabic rhetoric has come to take as a mechanism for analysing texts and discourses, whether it is a matter of persuasion and influence (debate, sermon, political and religious discourse, etc.), or at achieving enjoyment (poetry, storytelling, novels, plays, etc.) considering that rhetoric, according to modern critical practice, has opened up to all human discourse based on the possible, this research addresses a problematic that is mainly defined in the effectiveness of the terminological structure and analytical mechanisms of modern Arabic rhetoric in the analytical approach to creative texts.
