The process of judging an artistic work results from the mechanisms of interaction with the artistic product according to the stages of descriptions, analysis, and interpretation, and judging is one of the final stages of the critical process in which the critic extracts the aesthetic value of the work, this research aims to highlight the importance of aesthetic judgment in the critical process and in developing the artist and the creative process.

the study found that aesthetic judgment contributes to giving the material and moral value of works of art compared to other similar works also, the judgment does not depend on subjective judgments but depends on the aesthetic and cultural experience.

as this study showed that the criteria of aesthetic change according to the settings, and are influenced by artistic styles, and by changing critical opinions and philosophies.
