This article proposes an analysis of the cinematographic and photographic intersemioticity of the detective novel Telstar, which takes place in Algiers in the fifties, and whose French author, Stéphane Keller, without prior knowledge of the Algiers urban space, resorted to the film the battle of Algiers by Gillo Pontecorvo (1966) as well as to old photographs of the city to design the spatiotemporal setting of the plot.

Cet article propose d’analyser l’intersémioticité cinématographique et photographique dans le Roman policier telstar, qui se déroule à Alger dans les années cinquante, et dont l’auteur Français, Stéphane Keller, sans connaissance préalable de l’espace urbain Algérois, a recouru au film la bataille d’Alger de Gillo Pontecorvo (1966) de même qu’à d’anciennes photographies de la ville afin de concevoir le cadre spatiotemporel de l’intrigue.
