يتشكل القانون الدولي الإنساني أساسا من اتفاقيات جنيف الأربعة مع بروتوكوليها الملحقين لعام 1977، وهو الإطار الأساس لحماية الأشخاص والممتلكات والأعيان المدنية في النزاعات المسلحة الدولية وغير الدولية، والمادة الثالثة المشتركة اختصت بحماية ضحايا النزاعات المسلحة غير الدولية.
انفردت المادة الثالث بحمية ضحايا النزاعات المسلحة غير الدولية بضمان الحد الأدنى من الحماية لضحايا النزاعات عموما، وقد تكرست هذه الحماية أكثر في البروتوكول الإضافي لعام 1977، وتم تفصيل هذه الحماية الخاصة لضحايا النزاعات المسلحة غير الدولية.
Abstract EN
International humanitarian law consists mainly of the four Geneva conventions with their two protocols annexed to 1977, which is the basic framework for the protection of persons, property and civilian casualties in international and non-international armed conflicts, and the third common article concerned with the protection of victims of non-international armed conflicts.
article iii, the protection of victims of non-international armed conflicts, guarantees a minimum level of protection for victims of conflicts in general, and this protection was further enshrined in the additional protocol of 1977, and this special protection was detailed for victims of non-international armed conflicts.
