Abstract EN

This study aims is to identify the challenges facing the teachers of the primary school in the application of distance education through the platform (my school) under the corona pandemic.

the researcher has adopted the descriptive approach.

a questionnaire has been prepared and distributed to all 400 teachers of the grades.

the researcher has concluded a number of results.

the most important of which is : building in a list of challenges consisting of two axes : the first relates to the teacher and the second to the students and their parents, which includes (28) items.

the results also have shown that the members of the sample have approved with medium regarding the challenges related to the teacher and highly to the challenges related to the students and their parents in distance education through the platform (my school) under the corona pandemic.

the highest challenges are also found to be the item "the teacher was unable to verify the credibility of female students' excuses for absence or exit from class", while the least was the item "lack of appropriate methods to deliver the usual curricula in a good way").

besides, the study has shown that there are statistically significant differences among the sample members due to the variable of years of experience, and the variable of training courses in e-learning and distance education.

in the light of the results of the study, the researcher has recommended a number of recommendations such as the inclusion of a course on the ethics of distance learning, in which students apply ethics they have learned during distance learning classes and suggested a number of researches, including : presenting a proposed vision for developing "my language" curriculum in the light of e-learning applications.
