Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to investigate the effectiveness of an artistic activities program inspired by ancient Egyptian civilization in developing some historical concepts among kindergarten children, including political systems, economic resources, traditions and customs, arts and sciences, and weapons.

the research was conducted on 64 children from Saad Bin Abi Waqas official language nursery school in 6th of October city, divided into two groups: an experimental group of 32 children and a control group of 32 children.

the researcher used a test of ancient Egyptian history for kindergarten children, prepared by the researcher herself.

a quasi-experimental method was used due to its suitability for the research topic, and the results showed a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in favor of the experimental group on the test.

this indicates the effectiveness of artistic activities inspired by ancient Egyptian civilization in developing some historical concepts among kindergarten children.

the research concluded with several recommendations for curriculum developers, program designers, stakeholders involved in kindergarten children, and proposals for future research.
