Abstract EN

The current research aims at a suggested proposal for developing voluntary work culture among female students of the special education teacher program at the college of education for early childhood in light of the contemporary societal variables.

the descriptive research approach was followed due to its relevance to the nature of the research topic and objectives.

a questionnaire (prepared by the researcher) was applied to a sample of third-year students (special education teacher program).

the research revealed many results the most significant of which are the following: the voluntary work concept awareness dimension was achieved moderately with a percentage of (0.81), and the attitude towards voluntary work dimension percentage was (0.81) that ranged between the minimum and the maximum level, indicating that it was achieved in a moderate degree, the motivation towards voluntary work dimension percentage was (0.88) which ranged between the minimum and the maximum level, indicating that it was achieved in a moderate degree, the participation into voluntary work dimension percentage was (0.54) which was less than the minimum level indicating that it was achieved to a low degree.

besides, the axis of obstacles to voluntary work percentage reached (0.91), which was higher than the maximum level indicating that it was achieved to a high degree.

the research ended with presenting some recommendations and suggested further research.
