The study investigates the illegal use of credit cards by their legal holders.

This involves showing images of that use and raised the inquiry to either consider it as a criminal act or as a mere breach of a contractual obligation which does not entail a civil liability.

The results indicate that it is not sufficient to provide comprehensive criminal protection for all interests associated with the use of these cards.

This imposes a special legislative intervention that fills the legislative gap resulting from the use of these cards in financial transactions.
