The current study aimed to identify the extent to which students of the College of Pharmacy use smartphones in the educational process and to know the characteristics of learning via smart devices from the students ’point of view, and the obstacles to using smart phones in the learning process, The two researchers adopted in preparing the research the descriptive survey approach to achieve the research objectives.

The research resulted in: Students use a smartphone in the educational process to a very large extent, with an average of 14 singles, with a large degree of 9.07, and 8.86 with a moderate degree, while the average of 7.28 singles uses it to a small degree, and an average of 2.71 singles only uses it to a very small degree, which means that the stage students The fourth at the College of Pharmacy - Omar Al-Mukhtar University uses the smartphone to a large extent, and this may be due to the fact that 40.48% of the study sample use a regular mobile phone, while 59.52% of the study sample use smartphones, which helps them a lot in the educational process and increases their dependence on it.

The two researchers recommend the university administration to invest in the spread of smart mobile devices in support of the educational process from various aspects, and to work to attract learners to integrate into the electronic environment provided by electronic study, based on the fact that most university students today have become familiar with the use of smart mobile devices, and that the university seeks to reduce obstacles The use of smart phones in the educational process, so that it improves the Internet service provided to students, and the Internet coverage reaches the halls and stands where students study.
