Abstract EN

This research entitled: "attempts to produce something similar to the Qur'an", aimed to show the emergence of attempts that sought to produce a similarity to the holy Qur'an, and their causes and effects, and mention the stories of some of those who attempted to produce something similar to the holy Qur'an, and explain the fate of those attempts and what they have become.

the research used the inductive analytical approach, and contained an introduction, three sections and a conclusion.

the introduction contained: the importance of the topic, its objectives, the research limits, its methodology and procedures, previous studies, and the research plan.

the first section, defines the attempts to produce a similarity to the Qur'an in terms of language and terminology, and the second section, entitled: the reasons for attempting to produce a similarity to the Qur'an, and the effects that resulted from it, and the third section has dealt with people who were rumored to imitate the Qur'an, namely: al-Nadr Ibn al-Harith, Musaylamah the liar, Abhala Ibn Kaab, and Tulayha Ibn Khuwaylid al-Asadi.

then the research concluded with a conclusion that included the most important results, mainly: that all attempts to imitate the Qur'an have ended in complete failure, and as a result we have recorded evidence and stories that prove the truthfulness of the Qur'an, and that it is a miraculous speech, and that most of what was said to be an imitation of the holy Qur'an was very trivial and absurd, and it is not correct to call it an imitation, because it does not amount to being placed in one balance for comparison with the holy Qur'an.

the conclusion also included recommendations, the most important of which were: collecting all the accounts received about the stories of imitators, refuting them, and clarifying their authenticity and their ills, based on evidence, thus, make it a valuable research in this regard.
