The research aimed to study and test the impact of investing in human capital on formulating an institutional excellence strategy.

to achieve the aim of the research, previous studies were analyzed to derive research hypotheses.

then an experimental study was conducted on a sample of employees in Egyptian banks.

the researcher distributed 265 cases of experimental cases to the study vocabulary through manual delivery, social networking sites, and personal interviews of managers and employees in Egyptian banks.

after a period that ranged from two to three weeks, the researcher received 71 cases of them, with a response rate of 26.79%, and (5) cases were excluded due to incomplete responses or to failure to pass the validity test.

the researcher concluded that there is a positive significant impact of investment in human capital on the formulation of the institutional excellence strategy in Egyptian banks in general, it also found that there is a positive significant effect of investing in human capital on excellence in organizational structure, excellence in operations, and excellence in providing service in Egyptian banks in particular, as they are types of institutional excellence, while there is no significant impact of investment in human capital on leadership excellence as one of the types of institutional excellence.

the researcher also concluded that there is a positive significant impact of investment in human capital on formulating an institutional excellence strategy according to the type of bank in Egyptian banks, while he concluded that there is no significant impact of investment in human capital on formulating an institutional excellence strategy according to gender and job level in Egyptian banks.
