This research includes an introduction that includes: the importance of the topic, the reasons for its selection, the aim of the research, previous studies, the research problem, its limits, and the researcher's approach in this study the first chapter included a theoretical study, which included two topics: defining Imam Ali bin al-Madini briefly, defining the term "well-known" linguistically and idiomatically, the uses of this term among the imams of hadith, and the meaning of the term "well-known", according to Imam ibn al-Madini, and comparing it with other imams of criticism.
