هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن تحديات التعليم عن بعد في جامعة الشرقية أثناء جائحة كورونا من وجهة نظر طلبة كلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية، ولجمع البيانات قام الباحثان بتطوير استبانة وتم التأكد من صدقها وثباتها، وتكونت في صورتها النهائية من (29) فقرة ثم وزعت على جميع طلبة الكلية، وبلغت العينة 299 طالبا وطالبة.

أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن المتوسطات الحسابية جاءت بمستوى متوسط لاستجابات الطلبة لتحديات التعليم عن بعد في أغلب فقرات الاستبانة، ومن أبرز التحديات التي واجهت الطلبة ضعف شبكة الانترنت، وانقطاع التيار الكهربائي، وكثرة الأنشطة والمشاريع التي يكلفون بها، وكذلك عدم توافر البيئة المناسبة للتعلم لدى بعضهم.

كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود فروق ذات دلة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (a ≤ 0.05) بين متوسط تقديرات الطلبة لتحديات التعليم عن بعد تعزى لمتغيرات السنة الدراسية، والجهاز المستخدم (هاتف، حاسوب، تابلت)، ومكان السكن (قرية، مدينة)، ومصدر الانترنت ( واي فاي، هاتف نقال).

أما بالنسبة لمتغير نوعية التعليم المفضلة لدى الطلبة بعد انتهاء جائحة كورونا فقد تبين وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (a ≤ 0.05) بين متوسط تقديرات الطلبة لتحديات التعليم عن بعد ولصالح الطلبة الذين يفضلون التعليم المباشر في القاعات الدراسية.

وفي ضوء النتائج خلصت الدراسة إلى العديد من التوصيات أبرزها تطوير وتعزيز شبكة الانترنت في السلطنة، وتقليل الأنشطة التي يكلف بها الطلبة قدر الإمكان، والبحث في مشكلة انقطاع التيار الكهربائي مع الجهات المختصة في السلطنة.

English Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the challenges of distance education at A’Sharqiyah University during the Corona pandemic from the point of view of the students of the College of Arts and Humanities.

A questionnaire was developed and its validity and reliability were verified.

In its final form, it consisted of (29) items.The questionnaires sent to all students in the college and were collected from 299 students.

The results of the study showed that the arithmetic averages came at an average level of students’ responses to the challenges of distance education in most of the paragraphs of the questionnaire.

Among the most prominent challenges faced by students are the weak Internet, power outages, the large number of activities and projects they are assigned to, as well as the lack of an appropriate environment for learning for some of them.

The results of the study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (a ≤ 0.05) between the average students’ estimates of the challenges of distance education due to the variables of the school year, the device used (phone, computer, tablet), place of residence (village, city), and the source Internet (Wi-Fi, mobile phone).

As for the variable of the preferred quality of education for students after the end of the Corona pandemic, it was found that there are statistically significant differences at the significance level (a ≤ 0.05) between the average student estimates of the challenges of distance education and in favor of students who prefer direct education in the classroom.

In light of the results, the study concluded with many recommendations, most notably the development and strengthening of the Internet in the Sultanate, reducing the activities assigned to students as much as possible, and researching the problem of power outages with the competent authorities in the Sultanate.
