Abstract EN

This research aims at identifying the attitudes of the students of the Faculty of Basic Education towards the teaching profession in general.

First, knowing whether there is a difference of statistical significance according to the gender variable.

Second, the researcher followed the descriptive approach to suit its research objectives.

The sample consisted of (60) students, the researcher prepared (questionnaire) a tool of measurement, consisting of (30) paragraph, presented to a group of experts and specialists to verify the honesty and consistency, and used a number of statistical means to analyze the results of the research, namely : arithmetic mean, And Pearson correlation coefficient The selection Altaia for one sample, and testing Altaia for two independent samples, the research found that the study sample have a high level of trends a positive level towards the teaching profession, and that there is no statistically significant differences according to gender, has concluded the researcher a number of conclusions, including : 1 - trends have a great impact on what the student learns in the years of his studies, and the extent of success in reaching his wishes and abilities in the teaching profession.

2- The profession of teaching is one of the fine arts professions, which have their origins and bases.

The researcher recommended a number of recommendations, including : 1- Development and exploitation of the capabilities and preparations of students from the early stages of the study.

2- The need to provide materials related to the promotion of trends in students, and better support by enriching the student with a quantity of expertise and information related to the field of the teacher in general.

A number of proposals were also proposed : 1 - Conduct a similar study for the current study, to know the factors that constitute the attitudes of students of the Faculty of Basic Education towards teaching profession.

2- To benefit from the results of research in practical applications in the field of development of trends in students of the Faculty of Basic Education.
