Abstract EN

We dedicate this study to one of the mystic's encounters with the philosopher, and precisely the second meeting of the Greatest Sheikh with Abu Al-Walid ibn Rushd, where Ibn Arabi depicts himself entering his seclusion ignorant, to come out of it as a scholar without studying or researching or reading, to confront Ibn Rushd, one of the masters of rational thought, who can only be impressed by the case of Ibn Arabi, the man who did not follow the path of scholars.

in this encounter Ibn Arabi tried to extract a recognition of the value of the Sufi's path from Cordoba's judge and philosopher.

so that the victory would be for those who do not read over those who read, a victory that will appear strong and overwhelming in the scene of the transfer of ibn rushd's body with his books to the other side.
