Abstract EN

This research paper aims at raising awareness and shedding light on the concept of cognitive complementarity and the overlap between the sciences in the Arab-Islamic heritage.it traces not only the complementarity and the overlap between knowledge and the human sciences in their generality, but it also casts light on the complementarity and overlap between the sciences that are included in one science, namely language sciences.

in modern linguistics, it is named "the linguistic levels.

the study assumes that the cognitive complementarity and overlap between the sciences in the Arab-Islamic heritage derives from revelation and from the oneness of the creator, and that deconstruction and dismantlement which the sciences have known in the contemporary world have made mankind lose the universal and comprehensive reading of the world and mankind.

in addition, the specialization has appeared in the western modernity.

consequently, this has affected islamic nation through imitation and leaving their ancestors past and civilization.

this research is divided into an introduction, two chapters and conclusion.

the first topic is devoted to the complementarity and overlap between knowledge and science in the Arab world, its relationship with the issue of scholar's encyclopedia, in addition to the complementarity between linguistic levels in the Arab linguistic heritage.

as for the second topic, we presented this linguistic integration in the sciences of grammar and rhetoric, and we took Abd al-Qaher al-Jarjani as a model.

by working on the issue of "Hysteron-proteron" in his book (Evidnces of Miracles), he discovered the complementarity of the relationship between the function of grammar and rhetoric.

he sought to combine the two functions.

with respect to conclusion, it is a set of summaries and outcomes of the research.
