Arabic Abstract

الحمد لله رب العالمين، والصلاة والسلام على رسوله الأمين، وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين.

أما بعد: فهذا بحث بعنوان: «منهج الإمام ابن ماكولا (هبه الله بن علي) الملقب بالأمير (ت ٤٧٠ه) في الجرح والتعديل»، تناولت فيه الباحثة منهجه في الكلام عن الرواة جرحا وتعديلا.

ولهذه الدراسة أثرها على علم النقد عند المحدثين، للوقوف على مدلولات ألفاظ الإمام ابن ماكولا في نقد الرجال، وتزداد أهمية هذا البحث لمعرفة منزلة الإمام ابن ماكولا بين النقاد ومرتبته من حيث التشدد والاعتدال والتساهل؛ فلأجل ذلك وغيره كانت هذه الدراسة.

وقد جاء البحث في مقدمة وثلاثة فصول وخاتمة.

أما المقدمة: فقد تناولت فيها الباحثة أهمية الموضوع وبواعث اختياره، وأهداف البحث، ومنهج البحث والدراسات السابقة، وخطة البحث.

وأما الفصل الأول: فقد تناولت فيه الباحثة ترجمة الإمام ابن ماكولا، سواء ما يتعلق بالحالة السياسية والاجتماعية والعلمية والثقافية لعصره، أو ما يتعلق باسمه ونسبه وكنيتيه، وشيوخه وتلاميذه، ووفاته، ومعرفته بأحوال الرجال، وتمهيد في علم الجرح والتعديل.

وأما الفصل الثاني: فقد تناولت فيه الباحثة منهج الإمام ابن ماكولا في الجرح، وذلك ببيان مدلولات ألفاظه، ثم مقارنة أحكامه على الرواة بأحكام غيره من النقاد، مع إبراز نتائجها، ومعرفة مراتب الجرح عنده، وخصائص منهجه فيه.

وأما الفصل الثالث: فقد تناولت فيه الباحثة منهج الإمام ابن ماكولا في التعديل، وذلك ببيان مدلولات ألفاظه، ثم مقارنة أحكامه على الرواة بأحكام غيره من النقاد، مع إبراز نتائجها، ومعرفة مراتب التعديل عنده، وخصائص منهجه فيه.

وأما الخاتمة: فقد استعرضت فيها الباحثة أهم نتائج البحث، وتوصيات الباحث، ومن أهم النتائج التي ظهرت لي من خلال مقارنة أقوال الإمام ابن ماكولا بأقوال غيره من النقاد أنه من المعتدلين في الجرح والتعديل، وأن له مرتبتان في التعديل وثلاث مراتب في الجرح.

English Abstract

This study examines Imam Ibn Makoula and his approach in discrediting narrators and accrediting them.

This study has its impact on modern critics because it finds out the meanings of the words of Imam Ibn Makoula in the criticizing men.

the importance of this research increases by showing the status of Imam Ibn Makoula among critics and identifying his rank in terms of strictness, moderation and leniency.

This study consists of and introduction, three chapters and a conclusion.

The introduction explains the importance of the topic and the reasons behind its selection, the objectives of the study, research methodology, review of literature, and research plan.

The first chapter explains the biography of Imam Ibn Makoula in relation to the political, social, scientific and cultural situation of his time.

It also illustrates upon his name and genealogy, birth, upbringing, aging, his disciples, his death, his knowledge of the conditions of men, and an introduction to the science of crediting and discrediting narrators of prophetic traditions.

The second chapter: the researcher explained the approach of Imam Ibn Makoula in the crediting by explaining the implications of his words, then comparing his provisions on the narrators by other critics,’ highlighting the results.

Then the chapter explains the order of the crediting and the characteristics of the Imam’s method pertaining to it.

The third chapter: the researcher explained the approach of Imam Ibn Makoula in the discrediting by explaining the implications of his words, then comparing his provisions on the narrators by other critics,’ highlighting the results.

Then the chapter explains the order of the discrediting and the characteristics of the Imam’s method pertaining to it.

The conclusion presents the most important findings of the study that shows that the Imam is a moderate cretic in crediting and discrediting.

Finally the conclusion suggests the recommendations of the study.
